Few things to reform our Education system & Health in Poor India.

#Participate in this campaign if you like -

Before saying main issue first I would like to remind a story of
student. A small city student who thinks about builds and improves our
nation and its systems. After every events and class sessions which
was related to “How we can serve our country and society”. Student
Sulabh used to think deeply and was trying to write down something.
Those days the intention was to grab high marks amongst class mates.

After few years he saw a Red Light (Govt. D.S.P. Gypsy) Jeep is used
to pick up and drop a school boy at the time of school prayer and
final bell ring. The school was a simple public school situated nearby
one government primary and middle school. Sulabh thinks again this is
not fair. There are many poor children studying in both kind of schools
(Private and Govt.) as well. Gradually, public school became popular
and progressing fast and the situation of govt schools looks poor.
Today everywhere if we see maximum percentage of students in such
govt. schools is belonged to families of bottom line society.

Sulabh used to discuss with few people and friends, I think there
would be a rule “Public schools should be only open for business men,
private professionals etc. and kids of all govt. staffs and officers
must go govt. schools. Off course with all facilities (whatever free
for them as he getting in govt. offices and houses).” Kendriya
Vidyalay Sangathan (Central school in India) is very good example.

Today I feel immensely and want to ask loudly – Is there any need of
such rules??

If there would be law, everything will be automatically aligned and
people will have faith on govt. organizations. Specially for schools
and Hospitals. There are many govt. schools and hospitals running in
India without teacher, without doctor, without house and with lack of
other facilities. BUT THE TRUTH IS GOVERNMENT HAS GOOD BUDGET IN OUR
SYSTEM.

The reason is the person who belongs to services in either fourth
grade staff or they are first class gazetted officer. NOBODY WANTS TO
SEND THEIR KIDS IN GOVT SCHOOLS OR DON’T WANT TO GO GOVT HOSPITALS FOR
ANY AID.

Reply “YES” if you support…

    Hi Sulabh,

    Valid point..

Let me reiterate a whole subject which lead to the main issue in 4 points:

    1. weak society : This is main issue with Indian social system. we are mixed bag pupils. Wise got wiser and those wished to get wise, remained or forced to remain so called stupid.. you know selfishness. Who wants to waste their time on fundamental growth barring few good leaders who later got suppressed.

    2. British Impact : India still has a massive british impact however lately i felt its transition more towards americans. Thus we were always followers. But instead of following good, we on the mojor scale followed all the things that were not so good. Always rich and other who had aspirations to become rich took greater advantage of british ways of managing or rather ruling poeple. britishers did this as a business however indians did this for their fear.

    3. Who wants to work: This came post British era. Those who got jobs on higher layers (because there was a need for someone to work), treated themselves as kings as if that were their birth rights. They manipulated all and later this become their ancestral reserves. Others being uneducated, got to be on other side of all leisure. Some of them who later become wiser, either snatched them or at least tried big time. so overall no one worked for good of society but for own.

    4. There is hope: Hope were always there and it will be. We are growing in all aspects (negative and positive) and hence I hope that we will work for society and its fundamental growth within. what needs is a conviction for our work and consistent review.

Story you mentioned is everyone’s till he or she is secondary schools (you can say we are told that way) and later part of our lives contribute self good but not the society good.

Now the 2 main aspects of fundamental growth of society viz, Education and health.. I know i am talking a total idealism but as i said there is a hope. We have grown multifold in these 2 areas as well but thats only sectoral. The faith in govt. organisations (those built to promote social growth) has fallen over the period and so the efforts. It will take big efforts to reinstate that. Effort with real work, effort with results and effort with intentions.

    regards

    Hi Sulabh

You have started a very good discussion but I would like say another thing on it. We all are also responsible for our poor education and health system. Most of us who is able to spend some money on private education & health services they never uses our govt. facilities. This is also a reason for it.

    Regards
